About the Company
Core Perform designs and markets fitness products that improve athletic performance through better functionally designed products. Our products optimize athletic training by fusing physiological principles with functional design to create products that more accurately simulate the fitness performance needs of today’s athletes.
About the Founders:
Core Perform was founded by three collegiate oarsmen with a passion for rowing:
John Argitis John rowed for St. John's High School in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts before rowing at Oxford University (both in Cherwell, Isis, and for Keble College boat clubs). John has also coached high school crews, and continues to scull recreationally near his home in Massachusetts.
Alden Mills A Kent School NEIRA champion and Henley participant, Alden went on to captain and stroke both the freshman and varsity boats at the United States Naval Academy.
Andy Kelly "AK" rowed for Redwood High School in Larkspur, California. A two-time winner of the Senior 8+ at the Stotesbury Regatta, Andy subsequently rowed in Yale's varsity heavyweight boat, winning a bronze medal at Eastern Sprints and the National Championships in 1993. He now races out of his high school boathouse with the Marin Rowing Association.
Between them, they have over seventy years of on-the-water experience, and millions of meters on the erg. |
